I changed my oil today and driving to work, got the oil pressure low noise, pulled over saw my filter wasnt on fully so I was leaking pretty bad, checked codes and saw I had a P0045 code. What is the best way to go about troubleshooting this code? I'm sure it was just coincidence that it came on for the first time since my oil filter was leaking all over the place, but just in case I'm wrong, what steps should I take?

I would clear it and then worry about it when, and if it ever comes back as an actually MIL Request lol. :thumb:

Yeah, thats what Im thinking

Turns out my dumba** left the old O ring in the way of the new oild filter. So I had that fixed.

I cranked my truck up and saw the code P0046 pop up on my Edge Insite as well. Cleared both codes and didnt see anything pop up on my 3 minute drive to work. So hopefully its nothing

2005 Duramax looses power under load

I'm new to diesel's and I've been trying to diagnose this issue for a few months. Over the summer I was pulling my boat up a steep grade. The truck was working well, but about 2/3 of the way up the hill, it felt like a switch was flipped and I lost most of my power. No CEL or codes. Dropped down to about 35 mph. After searching multiple sites, I decided to replaced the turbo actuator solenoid. Now I can hear the turbo cycle, but I get CEL and codes p0045 & p0046. Replacing the solenoid didn't fix the problem either. I still have the turbo kick off on steep hills. Watching the engine stats, the load goes to 100% for more than a few seconds and the issue happens.

Any ideas?
