Overhead console screw...

This is going to sound kinda dumb but, can anybody tell me where to get the screw that hold the overhead console cubby up...

Mine apparently has fallen out and I'll be dipped if I can find it in the truck anywhere. If someone could tell me what threads it is, I could just go to hardware store and get a machine screw to replace it...

I don't know where to find it, but mine fell out too and i managed to find it on the floor of the truck in the dark. good luck.

The dealer could probably find you one for $10 but a machine screw would work fine, it is recessed in there so you couldnt see it anyways.

Thanks for the reply, I don't know how it wouldn't have shown up in the cup holder or in the floor, but I can't find it.

I am not going to pay $10 for a $.06 screw.

I had the same problem. Driving in to work and it fell out and the console started to fall down. Bit annoying. I think the center console uses the same screws as the overhead. Take one out and try it. If it works you can try to get a close match at a hardware store.

All the 7mm screws holding the dash and comsole in are the same. Actually if you have a console and pull the rubber out of the bottom there are 4 screws right there. Take one of those if you want
