I ran the Street Truck class and this was my first real RACE ever!! i ahve just test-n-tuned and goofed a few nights with smome buddies with the Edge!!

Ok, well I ran at a race wieght of 6755#'s with me in truck on my 285 BFG M/T's... I didn't get to test n tune the night before becuase of trailer issues!!!

This is a "LLY" w/ stock turbo, stock injectors, stock transmission, only aftermarket changes are Tires, Exhuast ( 4" MBRP), and Tuning Software...

I have an estimated 60-70 HP tune loaded from my EFILive and it is LITERALLY 100% smoke free after initial Spooled Launches.

Outisde Air Temp 75* at track..

Qualifying runs:

1 - 9.33 at 75.37 MPH.. 2.07 sec. - 60'
2 - 9.74 at 76.00 MPH.. 2.51 sec. - 60' ( Forgot to hit 4-hi button)
3 - 9.25 at 75.50 MPH.. 2.02 sec. - 60'

Indexed it and dialed set for "9.22" since it got hot outside...

Temp. at Elimination round was 85*...

Elimination Runs:

1 - 9.20 at 75.63 MPH... 1.99 sec. - 60 '
BROKE OUT and was Eliminated!!


Not bad for what is basically a "Economy/Tow Tune" IMO...

Congrats Big Will. Chris can undoubtedly make a good tune hes been working on a tune for me, for about 4 months or so:D . Hes at v10 now wow. Good Job not bad at all for your first time.

Im just glad I have alot left to play with..

I believe I can get it under 9.00 with tires, and more tuning!!!!

This tune is so smooth on the street, that when I get a tranny and a race tune, thsi will be my Tow-Tune for my DSP2!!!!!

good thing im goin to the track friday the racin bug is startin to bight harder i wanna go now. HMMMMM wonder how many ricers are on the road at 9:30 on a monday night.

Yea, I'd say the bug bit hard and dug in like an Alabama Tick!!!!!

I was trying to sell all my toys, NOW I KNOW I'M SELLING THEM!!!

My Red Truck is going, so are both my Jeeps!!! Off-Road racing jus tgot put on the BACK-BURNER!!!

Looks like SALAD for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for the fat kid for a while!!!!!

Thanks guys...

I know i wasn't breaking any records but I am very pleased with how I ran!!!!

Especially with how I was setup and the power level i had being so low!!!

I guess I need to really get those 60' times worked over!!!

I was out there and saw you run. It was really a great event. Those pro-street dodges sure are quick too, with the stuckey racing ram running a 6.14 in qualifying!
I'm hooked and I didn't even run!

Aaaahhh, you can't leave me hanging like that!!!

What does Nick know, that I don't????

I'm guessing it involves broken components to a truck in the near future if FLASHED!!!!:cool2:
