hey no smog so im feelin a little better higher min wage and more jobs so far and its cheaper cost of living and yes and any gas station you can pump your own diesel if you want you just cant pump gas and the wife loves shoping up here due to no sells tax
I have a good shop over here in Bend that can build your tranny. I had them build my 07 tranny, they are going to put full billet shafts and a snake oiler in the Suncoast 5 I have in the 06 as well as doing a full built motor for it as well. Bend is about a 2 hour drive from Salem over hill on the eastside in the good part of the state. PM me if you want more info. I see Jerry has already sent you a PM.me and the wife just moved up to salem,oregon on tuesday due to the lack of work in the bakersfield areanow its going to be a pain in the ass to get my trans built
One thing about Salem, you are only 20 minutes from Woodburn drag strip which is the best one in Oregon IMO. Also PIR is about an hour, and Medford, (another nice strip) is about 225 miles south on I-5. I was just in Bakerfield last weekend, almost got it twice on 99 by punks in ricers. First idiot not far from Famoso exit cut in behind me so hard that he lost control and went into the ditch. Almost got a motorcycle that was following me. Second was on my way back near Stockton, another punk cut in front of me with only inches to spare between me, his bumper and the big ass truck in the right lane he swerved to avoid.
