First that I've seen it...... I wonder why they wouldn't put it in the "for sale" section on all the major Duramax forums.....

Interesting. First I heard of it too.

The truck was at SEMA in the FASS booth IIRC just a month ago.

I heard that they are working on a new truck, but not sure if it will be Dmax powered.

It says it won the 2007 ProStreet championship, but that's an interesting story. The 2007 championship was supposed to be the #1 East truck against the #1 West truck. I won the 2007 West championship and Orange Crush was #2. So they changed the rules after the last race, so Orange Crush would run for the finals. Stuckey won the East, and they did the same thing to him. But both Stuckey and I lost in round one at the finals. So the championship race was the 2nd place East truck vs. the 2nd place West truck.

The douchebag gets upset when things dont go his way. With any luck DHRA will be out of business soon.

I like the "2008 DHRA Prostreet Champion" he was the only one at 1/2 of the races.
1. Chris Calkins PS2 540
2. Meacham Evins PS4 75
3. Carey Carter PS4 25
4. Josh Schmidt PS4 15
5. Jimmy Smith PS4 5

Thats like winning the gold medal at the Special Olympics

I saw the ad last night. I like the truck myself...

BTW, Nice run Pat! Were they heartbroken? :D

Of course they were, more along the lines of butt hurt im sure. Notice how long Calkins kept Pat staged... a very shitty move which caused Casper to eat a converter but Pat still won:D

I have nothing personal against the Orange Crush folk, just some minor racing disagreements, and offered to help them at Las Vegas, and had talked with them on the phone. And there is no doubt that's one fast Dmax powered truck.

The "burndown" at Colorado wasn't due to altitude. I raced him in qualifying and he had no problems staging the truck. And for the record, the burndown the Smith truck did on me in Texas wasn't deliberate.

As far as whether $65k is worth it? Depends on your goals. If you want a ProStreet diesel with a winning record, it's cheaper than you can build it yourself.

If I bought it Id put a fleetside bed on it, repaint, get rid of the Carson paperweight & get rid of the purple turd under the truck.
Doesn't need a ton of power to move at 3800-4000lbs

I think the TTS sticker proves this statement!!

It would be easier to sell as just a rolling chassis IMO.
hate to go busting bubbles but after Steve started helping them with the truck it went faster...

Jess,

I have just an observation, there is a rule isn't there about using electronics to stage a car/truck, I thought it is against the rules IIRC to use any form of artificial power/rpm limiting in that class ??

It is clear as day as you watch "STEVE's" tuning in Crush when he raced Pat you can clearly hear Crush "bouncing off a rev limiter", which is against the rules.............;)............didn't help him as he still lost the race !!

Crush still lost even though he had a rev limiter to stage and he held Pat for much longer at the tree than a "racer" should.

I will agree that TTS does have some fast trucks, but so does a lot of other people too, and they are not all LB7's.......................as the video proves.
