My truck is the 2001 lb7 in my sig it will be used for towing and street use.

Engine
PPE 225 (running 160 now)
Airdog 150 (currently installed)
Modded cp3
Ppe boost valve

Tranny
5-6 speed conversion
Transgo kit
Converter

Any glaring weaknesses i am over looking? Will my stock turbo be ok with just a boost valve? Any feedback is really appreciated

What exactly are you looking to gain? More power without doing anything to the motor or a full build? Need more info on what you want before anyone can offer suggestions.

^ yeah im not really looking to get into internals. looking for a build thats fun to drive pulls hard and i can jump onto the highway for a 700 mile trip and not worry about the truck. i guess my biggest concern is the tranny . the truck is my dd.

I would do a full SCIII kit atleast. That will do you good for 600whp and you wont have to worry about it. To do tthe transgo you have to pull the trans apart anyways.

yea build the trans and load an EFI live tune on her and you will have a nice 500hp truck that should last a long time. and dont worry about a modded CP3 at your power level.

i talked to suncoast last week because they are so close to me. the guy told me at 600 hp i would need a g4 max tranny, billet input shaft, flex plate, and t-case brace. Installed it would run $8,800. so i dont know what to believe from them

God I hate shops that try and sell you more than what you need... a Stage III kit, and TC Brace is all you need. forget the bullet input, and flex plate
