I have an issue only after a rain storm. It seems like there is water in the fuel. Injectors get noisy. The power drops. If I accelerate hard it smooths out. Idle gets very lopey. After a few miles on the freeway with no overdrive, its back to business as usual. Any suggestions on what might be happening?

Probably more likely an electrical connector that's getting wet. Mine used to throw "shift range inhibited" code during a hard rain because the NSBU switch or connector was getting wet. You need to pull connectors apart, clean and dry them and lube with some dielectric grease.

Need to check the wiring harness at the FICM (silver box on the right front valve cover). The harness wraps around the top of the FICM mount and is zip tied to it. The mount likes to rub through the wires.

Also #2 and #7 injector harness ends are to short from the factory and have rubbing/breaking issues. GM sells an update to add new ends to the harness for 2 and 7 injectors. Looks like I may need these as well for my intermittent fuel knock issue.

Also may need to try the ice pick trick on the injector wiring connectors... If you search ice pick trick on here it should come up. The spade ends in the connector get loose and need tightened up.
