I will be installing a twin kit soon. I'm curious as to who is using just one battery. Is it worth it to only use one or should I just go ahead and relocate the second one on the frame?

In Kansas winters can get pretty cold. Some days its below zero but most of the time its 20 - 30 deg for an average. Also was thinking about mounting both of them in the bed.

One battery here. Works great however I will probably throw on one or two more under the bed before wintertime hits.

Keyword there, winter...curious to see how many people running a single are doing in cold weather/snow conditions. Where I live it can and does get into the teens and single digit often so that's the only thing stopping me.

I live in Michigan and it gets pretty cold here. I mounted the 2nd battery on the frame rail. Battery cables fit without extending.

had multiple days in 0* weather and she still cranked right up. Flagstaff here is 6800ft in the air and sees some pretty damn cold winters

at that time, i had a duralast gold series 800cca battery in it with dual posts. Well it died back in May and they dont make them in dual posts anymore. since i run accessorys off the top posts, i had to upgrade to a platinum series battery for 50 bucks more but its lifetime warrantied and dry cell. concidering the yellow duralast was a just a cheapy, i was thoroughly surprised it lasted as long as it did
