Well my cooper zeons gave me a good run for there money. 14,000 miles of abuse and they are toast. Im actually surprised they even lasted that long. There currently about 1mm above the wear bars right now so i figured i would pick up a new set before it starts snowing.

Picked up a set of Falken wild peak AT's in 285/60/18. Same as my coopers.
They are a 120 load index with an H speed rating and had awesome reviews. They have a pretty good tread pattern and i think they will look nice on a street truck. We will see how they do at the track next season. All i can say is that my coopers SUCK for traction period. dry pavement is like driving on a wet road with those things.

So why not have some fun with the coopers untill wednesday when my falkens show up:D more will be added as i see fit:D

They are a good price too. Picked them up from discount tire direct for $700 shipped. $175 a piece. They also have a 50,000 mile warranty...but i wont be claiming warranty on them when i destroy them in another 15,000 miles:D Heres some pics of the wild peaks.

Mine wont be mounted on rockstars but it gives you an idea. I think they are a pretty good looking tire!

Good looking tire and really priced right I dont think they will be very sticky as they are pro ably a harder rubber to have a mile rating that high.I would probably give the tire warranty a try :D

I have a set of those Falkens on my truck now. They are about half life and I have around 15k miles on them. The traction was awesome the first half of the life but now on snow and ice they suck! I am going to get them siped as soon as I get a chance.

We drove to a resort mountain town in Wyoming last winter, 45 mph along a snow / ice covered road went to turn and the truck went straight into the ditch.

Definitely don't regret the purchase especially for the price.

Have same tires on my truck. They're OK. I had BFGs before and these falken tires are extremely hard compared to the bfgs. Traction is so so...only have probably 500miles on them though.

Got the tires today and had them mounted and balanced. First impression is very good. They ride nice and are very quiet. Did a 2wd full throttle run and they hook up extremely well. WAY BETTER than the coopers ever did.

Started raining tonight so I went and took it for a drive. Wet roads are so so.. can still break them loose pretty easy on wet road. Still better than the coopers.

Not quite as flat as the coopers were but I like them and don't regret the purchase. I'm sure they will stretch out over time.

There ok, nothing special. Still pretty crappy in the rain, spin pretty easily...but then again any tire probably would with a heavy foot and no weight on the back tires. Track hasn't opened yet so I don't have any current track times or 60' times compared to the coopers I had. There rated at 50,000 miles...doubt I will get 10,000 out of them. I have probably 3500 miles on them and I've lost probably 20% of the tread already. I was pretty easy on them for the last 3000 miles and saw how quick the tread wears....since then, I've just been back to my normal "if there going to wear out this quick...might as well have fun doing it" mode. I will more than likely be putting new tires on come november.

My tire guy was talking all sorts of crap on them when I asked him about this tire (i had already bought them) then as I pull my truck into the shop he saw those are the tires I got and said oh sooo that's why you asked about them:roflmao:

Once you wear the tread down past the factory siping, your just riding on big blocks of rubber. The factory siping/tread doesn't go all the way down to the base of the tire... i didnt notice this until my tire guy pointed it out. For the price, I'm still happy with them as I don't think it matters what tire I get...There just not going to last long with my driving habbits. I've accepted that fact of life.

I see, why do people say that they have a "hard compound"? I always thought those tires have extremely soft tread. My friend just got a set of 315/75/16's for his cummins and they seem really soft
