Are the DD members living in Oklahoma alright? Prayers go out to all the people who suffered thru that storm.

All is good in the Tulsa area, but Moore took a beating and some other towns over the last 2 days :/ with weather not so promising thru the rest of the week, today was devastating to say the least ... Pray

It went less than 100 yds from where my dad works on east side of Moore. They were in the safe room in thier office. He works for an oilfield equipment repair and manufacturing company. The business next to them that does the same work has 2 approx 50'x100' buildings with 20' walls was leveled along with his boss' moms house that was a couple hundred yds to the west. They also owned a 100'x200'ish red iron building across the road where alot of the employees had moved their cars inside to get out of the weather that is now laying on top of their trucks. I have a buddy who works there with a 09 F250 that has a red iron roof truss on top that almost cut it in half.

The first pic is where the building used to be. It pretty much imploded on itself. The 2nd is the office that my dad was in and I was in the lot across the street where the other building was. I didn't get to hang around long to take many pics. I was making sure my dad was alright and if he had a ride home. I'll probably go back tomorrow to help out and get more pics.

It's hard to believe, knowing what that used to look like. My dad's boss' dad owned that business that is leveled, (he passed away last year), his mom had a really nice house behind that barn in the background. She has 2 cellars at the house and all the employees from their company were there.

My wife and I know 2 different people that knew the 3 people that were killed in the 7-11. Just pray that the school they are still searching in isn't as bad as they are thinking it is.

They just downgraded the death toll from 51 to 24!!! They are still saying there will be more by the end of the day, but the initial reports from last night have been greatly reduced! That is awesome news.

That is great news, but what were they doing, guessing how many deaths there were? Or were they counting the missing people that have since shown up?

A few more pics my dad took.
The first is looking across the street where the building was that had their trucks in it.

The 2nd is looking south at the business next to them.

3rd is a closer look at builing across the street.

4th is what's left of his boss' mom's house that was west of them where the employees from business next to them were all at.

5th is my buddies F250 that was across the street.

This looks all too familiar. Prayer's and support sent OKC's way from Tuscaloosa!

My buddy drove his truck out of there after they lifted the beam off! My dad has a pic from the other side with the RF tire off the ground because it has so much weight pushing down on it. All 4 tires still had air in them!

Well my wife and I did what we could. She found a woman who is driving to OK from our home town and being as my wife is a couponer she had a lot to give. We sent her with 14 bags of food just from our house and there is a lot of other people giving. Hope it helps out there.

Thank you very much! You cannot believe the amount of supplies they are receiving from all over.

If anyone wants to donate, you can TEXT, FOOD to 32333 and it will send $10 to the Red Cross and be deducted from your phone bill.

One thing i can say is more people are donating to salvation army and churches. Red cross money is not guaranteed to stay in Moore but churches have to account for everything. That said I'm going to be driving back and forth from tulsa saturday with a 16' trailer and bed loaded down with local donations. Stay safe guys
