Ok, I still don't get the EFILive Stuff!!!!

I am on EfiLives website right now and I am so confused that my brain is hurting!!!

What do I need guys??

What is a DSP2 or DSP5???? I have a LLY and a LBZ so I need to be able to tackle both trucks and there Transmissions!!!!

I get the jist that DSP2 or DSP5 lets you change tunes quicker but not ON-THE-FLY.. Is this correct??? Do you have to shred your harness to wire them in or soemthign???

Please someoen explain thiS stuff to me again, becuase I am more lost now than I was 3 months ago!!!

I am so tired of my Edge being a dog and acting up, I'M READY TO PLAY WITH THE BIG BOYS... DUEL FUELERS, STAGE V TRANS., AND SOME TUNING!!!

My problem is that I race maybe 4-5 times a year at the strip, and then I pull maybe twice... But I still want a Bad Ride, to whip around in and STILL TOW!!!

Help me, i'm an idiot!!!

DSP2 is out LLY/LB7 and you get to have 2 tunes RACE/TOW or whatever you desire
DSP5 is not out yet but is 5 tunes of whaterver you like...shortly

iirc there is no plans on a dsp for the LBZ

oh and yes you can tune both ECMs but not the TCM on the lbz

so yes on the trans for LLY/lb7 no for the trans on the LBZ

Ok, but is the DSP for a LLY hard to wire up??? Do i have to have my Laptop in the vehicle to use a DSP2...

With V2 i can datalog and jsut ride around with the Laptop hooked up like I a Diagnostic Tool???

Is the DSP2 On-The -Fly switchable or do you ahev to stop turn the truck off, hook up the laptop etc...????

Dsp is one wire in the ECM no hacking cutting just pussh the pin in and hook it to a switch

yes you can drive around with a laptop and scan
