I have an oil leak that comes from up top at the rear of the engine on my 02. I'ts been there for several months. It comes around both sides of the bellhousing. I had the top end apart for injectors not too long ago and didn't see the cause while I was doing that. It doesn't leak alot, just drops a dime size spot every night. I towed my camper home 3 hours yesterday and woke up to a paper plate sized oil spot in my garage this morning. I'm running a S300 turbo, I think it might be the oil drain. There is a little bit of oil in the valley, not much. Can I tighten the oil drain to rear cover studs/nuts if I remove the compressor housing? Or can I get to them without removing the turbo? Or does anybody have any other ideas. The heads and valve covers look good from what I can see, and I had the valve covers off recently and it leaked before that.

You might be able to get them without removing anything. Reach around the back of your turbo under the down pipe and you should be able to feel the drain line flange and bolt heads.
