Oil Leak and Black Dust

While this thing is down I am trying to avoid the oil leak we had after the install of the GT42R and the black dust. The leak is from under the charger at the return line and I have a new set of gaskets, just wondering if this is going to be a common problem with this turbo. The exhaust dust on the firewall looks like it came from the downpipe connection. To me it seems the face of the downpipe is a little smaller then the turbo flange. What can be done for this? The kit came from PPE and it had everything including all the gaskets and clamps. This is my first Duramax expirence. It ran well but had blown headgaskets. I am in the process(slow) of doing the SOCAl stroker kit with the stage 2 heads and a bigger camshaft and I want this customer to be very happy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What did the gaskets from the uppipes look like, could be leaking from there, both dealers here have had those gaskets in stock the several times I went looking for them.

They were fine I think it came from the clamp area around the downpipe because the back of the turbo was also black.

You had mentioned a different intake runner or something else we should do what was it?

What year? Just a stock runner? What kinda of gains does this provide? Most important-will it bolt on with no mods and what all do I have to get? Part #'s would be even better.
