Mike or anyone else that remembers a thread on DP years ago about why the oem ujoint is stronger then a spicer replacement and also why greasable ujoints are much weaker and should not be used in our applications.

If any one can find it or give me answers to my statements above I would really appreciate it.

Greasable u joints are hollow and are prone to breaking under the tq stress of our engines. OEM joints are made of the highest quality and stronger. I question the anemic amount of greas in new joints and allways add some of my own high quality grease. Remember you only have one shot at it.

Mike, do the oem joints have larger needles then the spicer replacements you can pick up anywhere? I remember a thread at dp a year or more ago and you stated they were. You said to purchase the oem joints even though the price was a little higher they were the way to go.
