OEM trailering harness

We'll our lb7 we bought about a month ago came with from the previous owner an aftermarket trailer hitch and a four pin plug in. I unwrapped the electrical tape, and what it looks like is he just cut out the stock plug setup. All the wires he didn't use was caped and taped, does anyone know if i can get an oem plug harness that goes into the back of the oem 7 pin plug? I tried looking on gm parts direct and they only have the 7 pin plug or the actual hitch, couldn't find the electrical. Thanks for your help!

This is the only thing I can think of that would get you the harness the 7-way plugs into.

See i was looking at that, but do i need too splice all those extra wires into the taillights etc or will they plug together with the stock harness?

Since you said the original owner hacked off the end of the harness, yes you will have to splice this new harness to the original tow package wires. You have to use the factory tow package wires because they are different wires than the ones that run the truck lights.

That is probably what you are looking for. Someone here should be able to help if that is what you need.

Finally had time to look at the plug. It looks like the wiring harness for the trailer plug actually runs up under the cab somewhere.

I found this one. But it looks like the 5th wheel harness.
