OEM Assist Steps Install

I have a 2016 Silverado 2500HD & bought some OEM running boards that came off of a 2016 Silverado 1500. The prob. is my DEF tank is in the way of the factory brackets from the 1500. Is there some brackets I could buy for mine to replace & go over the DEF tank?

I called & found out that part number will not work for my truck...Amazing

Called who, just because they said they won't fit doesn't mean they wont

Might want to do a little more research on that. There's a lot that dealers dont know.

I just got an email back from them & he said the brackets are different for the round tube, flat rectangular & retractable ones.

Mine are the flat rectangular ones, still waiting on a part number on mine.

Does this have all brackets or just one or two? Also does it include the brace for the brackets that go from the top hole to lower one on the body?

I haven't got them yet, still on order.
