I have a 04.5 LLY with 115k on it. It's had a pretty easy life, rarely towed, never heavy, and never had a tune until now. Am I going to hurt my trans running a 100hp Predator tune, if I always have OD locked out? We don't have high speed limits around here, so I can get away with having 5th locked out if I dont leave town, which is most of the time. Whenever I do leave, im usually towing my 6k trailer, so I drop it to the 40hp tune, and even if im not towing I run 40 on the highway.
I dont abuse my truck. If I do get on it, its usually just a couple gears, 1-2 or 2-3, very rarely 1-3. I just want to know how hard it is on my trans with easy driving and the odd walk on it. No 4-5 or 5-4 shift, ever.
