Truck looks like a nice unit. With that max in there I bet it one awesome ride. I did the same thing with my V2.
ill try to take more tomorrow if its not rainin. it runs/drives jus stuck on sum of the interior wiring crap.
Anything in perticular, we do have some of the best minds in the country, some of the biggest heads too, but we are almost always willing to help.
Great job! Looks like a nice swap. Why did you reuse the steering column from the duramax though? What was wrong with the original trucks' steering column?
its my power windows. i used the complete donor trucks wiring except the door harnesses cuz i couldnt get them. soo i have to try an make my pw system work with the dmax pw system which are as complete opposite an anything can get
the original column didnt have the tow/haul an i would have had a problem with VATS so i wouldnt have even been able to start it untill i got my v2
I'll poke around a bit on the power windows. I'm sure there's a few other guys that will too, what year was the donor 01-02?. If your using to 96 door harness and switches you should be able to just use the donor wires and rebuild the harness using the 96 schematic. There's a guy theferminator that runs a OBS suburban with a dmax, he might be able to shed some light for you.
donor was 02. ive already talked to fermanator he used his factory 95 interior harness an made his engine harness work/fit his d/max and his burb is 1995 (obd1) diff wiring but he did help me out on a few things already. also more pics tomorrow evening its rained the las 2 days
