Ok so I'm on my second box tuner and my second ECM. Both of which I know to be in good working order, this leads me to believe that there's some kind of problem with the wiring between the ECM and the OBDII port. Anyone able to help me with this? Like a wiring diagram or the same problem? I'm at my wits end. I wish I'd bought EFI live from the start but I already have $300ish invested in a tuner and $450ish in a new ECM. Trying to cut my losses. Any help would be appreciated.

Ask Henry he might be able to get a schematic for you.

All your other fuses are good? Never had a problom so I don't know what to say?

Yeah, I don't know how many times I've checked all the fuses. This is driving me nuts. I don't think it's a bent pin or anything since they all look straight.

Actually come to think of it, I have a KD Finger stick for the EGR codes since I blocked it off, but that wouldn't affect the flash would it?

I dont think the finger stick should have anything to do with it. It maybe a pain, but I would pull the radio out and unplug it and then try and flash it, a lot of aftermarket electronics do some weird stuff to the class 2 data line.

I'm guessing your not covered by warranty? Is it possible to take it to a dealer to "make sure you have the latest reflash". If they can't connect a TECH II to it then you may be able to push them to fix it.....

Cheers
Cindy

I'll try pulling to the whole radio. Hopefully that works. Would there be any kind of aftermarket electronics that someone could have installed on the wires between the OBDII port and the ECM?
Well I know I have the latest flash because I just got the ECM from Guy at SoCal Diesel.
Any other ideas?

I have seen some remote starts and security systems that have wires spliced into the Class 2 data line, just past the OBDII connector.

Ok, so my day got better and then got worse again. The radio was definitely the problem. I pulled it and replaced it with the factory unit. The Predator communicated fine, until...... Now it says there's a internal flash error on the Predator. So close! Thanks for all the help guys! I guess now it's between me and Diablosport.

Me too. That's been frustrating me for months now. Looking back, it seems like such an easy solution. Makes me wonder why the radio would be involved in that particular circuit though... Weird.
