Help: NSBU, BCM, mulitfunction swtch?????

got a couple problems here..
1. auto lock will not unlock when put in park. the lock at random as well sometimes imdiatly when put into gear or once the truck reaches 20+mph
2. "P, N" will not highlight on the dash
3. "3" while become highligh when pulling the shift lever half way between P and R then jump to R
4. i have R, D, and 3 flash randomly
5. goign form N to D the truck will jump when it goes into gear.. not too bad but deffantly not like it should
6. 1 random no start.

i check codes with efilive and no tranny code were tripped

darn thing almost left my brother and it stuck at a bar tonight......... 3 minutr of taping and jggling wire and it started.... then left he SOB run for a couple hours at a friends house...

When you replace the NSBU they sell a new harness to replace with it.

so i picked one up 3 weeks ago got it installed all said problems go away...

tonigth my gear indicator light goes out and the auot un-lock doesnt work anymore. clock reset on me, and on the way home had the dash got out for split second.

got stuck in 3rd for a little bit as well... played with the shifter and got it go to 4th and 5th...

following code was pulled B2973... havent found what that is yet.

12.X when off 14.X when runing... Mike l sent em a wrieing diagraghm got 12.X every were it is suppoise to be...
replaced the NBSU 4 weeks ago and no problems till lately..
and its a random code :banghead:
BCM i know what this is and were its located... and it aint cheep
IPC, whats that?
PCM,- iirc diesel dont have this...
RADIO, stock unit still in it
RWSCM whats this?

got a P0708 trans range high voltage limped it to only 3rd and reverse.

pulled the NSBU off
cleaned it up cleaned the male connectors
filled the female side with dielectric grease
re instaled it
all indicator light cam back on.
took efi lvie to clean the p0708 2 trys to clear it.

going for a test drive to see if i have all my gears back.......
