I am new to the duramax and recently just bought the hypermax energy max programmer just too see the difference since it's still under warranty and don't want to do the dpf delete and tunes til it gets closer to the end of the warranty..:(. Anyways on stage 3 it will get up and go great but it almost seems the transmission doesn't like it in 1st and 2nd then once it hits 3rd or top of 2nd it really pulls.. Is there something wrong with the transmission or am I just over thinking it..lol. I will be doing efi live along with the dpf delete and full exhaust here before long, this is just to get me something til then:D

Thanks

Did you give the trans time to relearn? You need to drive it a couple days, starts and stops going through the gears enables the TCM to learn the new power level. Normally you get a long lazy shift to start off with and it gets better and better the more you drive.

Just a heads up, you have already screwed up your warranty by tuning it. If it has a catastrophic failure and they go in the ecm to check if it has been tampered with, they will see it. But what Watson said needs to be done. Has to learn the new power.
