So I guess mother nature decided to play some April fool's joke on me... Caught on an icy patch and couldn't regain control for the first time in my life. I'm alright, walked away from that with no injuries. Pretty bummed that I had big plans for it this year.

Just glad you are ok.

Thats quite a lot of damage, but it may be able to be repaired. Good luck.

Stinks. But it's just a truck.

Definitely lost the trans cooler. Looks like your truck slit it's wrists under there.

Doesn't look like too much got hurt though

Ah man that totally sucks. I know the feeling. I hit a telephone pole when I hit a patch of ice and couldn't regain control. Was really pissed at myself. But I rebuilt the truck the way I wanted it.

You'll do the same. At least you're ok man. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Ouch!!

You were fortunate to walk away unharmed (and didn't hit anyone else), so as much as it SUCKS, it could be worse.

If you need parts, let us know and we can keep an eye out. A guy I truck pull with gets trucks from auction from time to time and sometimes lets us scavenge parts off them for free or cheap depending on what the damage was/is.

I'm around Fitchburg aka the dirty burg. Not for long though.

Thanks everyone. My goal is to get the truck fixed up even if the insurance try to claim it totaled. I have a relative and family friends who does auto body and my family has been using their business for many years. It's easily repairable, frame is tweaked a little at the front by the front crossmember and bumper mounting points, my body shop does frame straightening like in their sleep. Basically it needs the obvious body parts, radiator, condenser, intercooler, tranny cooler (which I already have waiting to be installed), inner fender support ( fiberglass fender seem to be okay) radiator core support, engine fan, pretty much the usual front end parts involved in the collision. I'm going to do some aftermarket parts like intercooler, hood but keep some factory parts like the radiator which I have read issues by using aftermarket radiator, condenser, etc. If you have any suggestions of what to replace with better ones that are similar in prices using factory parts, I'm open to it.

Sorry to hear about it. If your truck is loaded I wouldn't worry much about them totaling it. When my wife wrecked mine a year and a half ago insurance still valued at $22k. I think I could probably get $26k for it if I tried to sell it.

Truck is loaded with all the options except a moon roof. I'm really hoping they don't total it. Crashing the truck was the last thing I wanted since I'm in the process of looking to buy a house for my family of 5. Not to mention, my wife just got a brand new car since hers was totaled in December from a hit and run.

I'll sell it to you whenever I get around to do my 3 link airbag setup lol. Hopefully the insurance goes the way I want it to which I'll find out sometimes this week.

i keep swaying towards a custom deaver pack. less issue with dealing with worn out hiem joints, then just fab up some long travel air bags or make them collapse able/quick release when not towing. Hopefully its good news!
