Just installed PPE Stage 5 kit this week, everything seemed like it went smooth. Upon starting the truck, fluid wasn't circulating and began coming up the dipstick. Could something be wrong inside the pump? When put into reverse or drive nothing at all happened.

Could be loose valve body bolts or loose stator body bolts. Also could be something wrong with the 2 bell housing gaskets.

The internal filter seems very loose and not very solid. Could this be the problem that the fluid isn't picking up?

The filters don't have a very tight fit and can be moved around easily even when properly installed. Did you make sure the old filter gasket came out with the filter when you removed it?

Any more ideas? I'm pulling it back out in the morning and will re check everything. My main concern is something with the pump but other than Mikes suggestion I'm not sure what it could be. All suggestions welcome!

If the filter fell out I'm not sure the pump would pick up any fluid.

Is there any way there is just WAY too much fluid?

I installed a SunCoast Filter Lock when I put in my valve body. Held that thing tight!!
