How important is the direction and placement of the bottle?

Reading the instruction it says place bottle with valve facing to the front of the truck but we would like to place it side to side for mounting purpose

would it be ok to place it side to side?

Just remember, nitrous is a liquid. If you are running low, it could slosh away from the pickup tube if it isn't mounted with the valve toward the front, but I probably wouldn't worry too much about it.

Yep want Lonnie said. Should work fine. Simon are you getting a fix???

I installed a 50 jet pre intercooler to help speed up spooling. I had no intentions of using it after the turbos where spooled but I can see how people get addicted to it:D

it has a bottle heater with it to... Real nice kit with a controler but we just rigged it up to the horn to aid in spooling

I think I'd jet down a bit Slim - don't want to risk walking through the brakes!

Reviving this thread, I am also looking to do this, does placement of the jet have to be where Simon installed his? Or can it be in the intake pre turbo, or, does not matter ?

thanks. Ordered the Y for my nitrous line and got another solenoid coming from Steve :happy2:

In front of the turbo will work fine. Depends how many stages you run but the longer the distance the better it is. It hits softer but gives it more time to cool the charge.

Will be running the single stage to spool and my ZEX TPS for the second. Probably will not use the first stage after I leave the line
