North Texas Dyno and Sled pull

Also a few of us are meeting up between 7:30 and 8:00am at Starbucks at I20 and 377 in Fort Worth and gonna convoy out to the Dyno event. Anyone that wants to join us just show up or you can text me 972697five five three seven. my name is phillip.

Dyno is $75 for 3 runs and the sled pull is $20 a hook if you pass the sled pull inspection. Dyno starts at 9 am and the sled pull starts at 5 pm. there are different classes for the dyno with prizes to be won! if you just want to spectate its $10 to get in for both events. proceeds go to the mineral wells volunteer fire department. Like i said earlier, a few of us are meeting at Starbucks at I20 and 377 and gonna convoy out there between 730 & 800 am. the more the better! come have some fun everyone!

Id like to go. well see. im in longview and Id like to convoy it up with everyone but that means i gotta leave at 430...

Even if you don't catch the convoy, you should still come out. its an all day event,I'm getting there early so if anyone coming a little later needs directions just shoot me a text. i'll let you know how to get there.

Wish i could make the dyno event but ive got too much to do tomorrow but i should be able to make it for the pulls. Thanks for the info. Also kinda off topic but do you know of any clubs in the dfw area?

Thats cool man, shoot me a text when you get there. I dont know of any local DFW clubs, but a guy in Austin started a statewide club thats just getting started called Lonestar Duramax. He has a page on Facebook, just got to it and like the page and ask him how to get involved. I'm always looking for people to hang out with to, maybe we can start our own local DFW Duramax club? BTW my girlfriend named my truck Christine too.

Well this thing was pretty cool, I saw about 4 or 5 Duramaxes out there counting mine but there was at least 100 cummins trucks there. The dyno broke so we had an impromptu street drag race instead. One of the Duramax guys that convoyed with me was whippin some cummins ass! I can't wait for the next one, we've got to get more Duramaxes out there to represent next time.

I'm not sure, it was a yellow trailer and the guy that runs in drives a lotus. The guy that put the event on originally had someone else coming out but it fell through and he called this guy at the last minute. After they gave up on the dyno we all went to the back of the lot and did some drag racing.

My bad on not making it out there work at the house ran long but im definitely interested in trying to get some guys together for a DFW dmax club but i honestly wont be able to be active until fall with the way my works going i have no extra time it seems:mad:

Its all good man, I want to get some guys together for a local Duramax meet but its a pain in the ass to get Dmax guys together for some reason. I had this dyno day on three Dmax forums and two other Dmaxes showed up. I'm having to resort to hanging out with cummins guys. Lets get something going man.

Damn man, I wish you would've stopped by my truck. I had lots of beer to share. I'll try to figure out sometime to set up a meet for Dmaxes. Whats wrong with your Dmax?
