I went out and just looked over my motor today and I noticed this oil build up and was wondering is this normal (wasn't sure if this was one of the cons of blocking the egr instead of just deleting it)

Normal, especially if the egr is blocked. You might consider resealing them when you get a chance. Use a very very light coat of high temp silicone on both sides of the gaskets if you do.
Thanks for the help guys. I figured that's all it was but I wanted to hear it from someone who knew what they were talking about
