Just picked up a 2007 3500 lbz crew cab dually . 90k bone stock one owner . Just want some advice on upgrades I should do and what stuff I should stay away from . It's a daily not looking for balls to the wall power because I have a 1200hp Camaro to do that Just want something reliable and sounds nasty. Just order a MBRP 4in turbo back plm serious exhaust and a S&B intake with lower scoop . What other parts would be a good buy ? Thanks

well since you said you want it to sound nasty...i noticed a big difference in the sound of my lbz when i did ppe manifolds and up pipes and put a 3 inch downpipe on my mbrp 4 inch syatem.
Good efi live tuning will wake that truck up very nicely.
I built my trans before i tuned mine, but you can get stock trans safe tuning from quite a few vendors on here, idaho rob has a great name in tuning, mark broviak from danville performance is building some bad ass duramax trucks and is said to be an amazing tuner.
when i redo my set up i am going to get tuned by him i think...supposed to be a hell of a guy.
lots of good info on this site.
i rarely post on here but there is always something to read and always a good conversation going on about something.
you picked a good site to join.
welcome.

Thanks for the info ! And of course I'm driving my truck and the check engine light came out throwing the P0403 EGR control circuit code. Honest opinion does anybody know if I should by the whole EGR delete kit or just buy the block plate . Pretty good difference in price just want to make sure I do the right one .

TX of course
You can block it just fine using a plate and tune, but I liked the idea of deleting it better. The egr cooler will fill up with oil if you don't delete it. That didn't sit well with me.

That's my understanding C20. Mine PCV is still stock I see no point in the reroute unless your looking at a built engine.
