Every so often seemingly at random my truck won't start without juggling the keys. I turn it to start and it cuts power to the inside of the cab and nothing happens. So I checked the batts sitting and then loaded each one and they check out fine. If I turn it to start and back to off a whole lot eventually it will start. I changed the starter relay under hood and it didn't help. Its not the batteries And I'm not real sure it's the starter. Is there another relay for the stater or is it more likely the key cyl going bad?

It seems me like the starter signal is weak or it's not getting there...

Just put a starter in mine. It definitely acted strange with just a single click sometimes and kind of random. I also had some grinding type noise when it did crank that was getting steadily worse. original starter tested ok on the bench with no load tho. I changed it and it cranks way faster now. I am hoping thats all that was wrong with mine.
