i just got my 05 lly back together after a few months of downtime slowly doing some mods to it.
mods just done:
new lbz fpr
batmowheel
ported turbine housing
relocated FICM to rad shroud
deleted factory fuel filter
deleted EGR
made dual filter setup like airdog setup
new aeromotive a1000 lift pump and bypass regulator
new feed line direct to cp3
rerouted return lines to make it easier to work on motor
So my issue is that after i initially got it back up and running last week, i had a small oil leak and coolant leak. During this first startup, it rolled over and fired fine after a few seconds. So then i ended up removing turbo again to replace the new turbo drain tube gaskets again and an oring in the coolant tube after thermostat housing. Now the truck will not start up at all unless i use ether. once running it seems fine and will start right up after shutting it off. But if it sits overnight its a no go and i need ether again. i just went over all my high pressure lines and dont see any leaks and they are all tight. i have 11psi of feed pressure to cp3. Im at a loss. Im gonna grab efi scan tool off my buddy tomorrow to see if i can log it when trying to start and see what my actual rail pressure is. I have got a code a few times that is saying i have high rail pressure and the truck well shake and buck but then smooth out and it only happend 2 times in the last few days.
What do i need to look at or any suggestions?
