Allison 6sp: No spin magnet

Changed my spin on today fir the first time (had lube shop change before, rip off). Went to clean the magnet and ot was not to be found. Should i have a problem running it at the track tonight without?

I ran mine forever with no magnet. After 2 years i finally decided to get a new one. $3 from my local allison dealer.

Are you sure it still wasn't on the trans or on the filter?

Most likely the stupid lube shop threw it away last time.

Its not extremely critical but I would still get one soon if it was me.

Yeah it's gone. Thought about hitting the dealer up since merchant is only $5 then shipping.

We'll see what a385k mile truck will run tonight.

I had got a new one from allison when I changed my spin filter there only a couple of bucks.
