I kept getting tripped up on the question "if a duramax is not a Chevy, what is it?". I kept putting Isuzu. It didn't Don on me till the question changed, that the answer was GMC. Might want to clarify that you don't mean who builds the motor.

There are more than a few of us who think that question should be more difficult than it is.

I seem to remember a long time ago someone said that Chevy trucks are a GMC with option X88 "Chevrolet Conversion". ;)

I will not lie and I am pretty sure when someone asks or talks about the vehicle they drive they say don't say a 08 chevy silverado 2500 or what not, they say an 08
Duramax... Could just be me tho!

I say Chevy Duramax. The word Chevrolet sounds un American. Like that corporate dumbass that tried to get people to not say the word Chevy.

Saying that you drive an engine bugs the hell out of me, its redneck.

People ask what I have, I tell them its an 04 GMC with a diesel, if they have to ask if its a duramax than I don't need to be talking to those kinds of people :thumb:
