I was driving home I looked at the gauge and I see 0 oil pressure. I pulled over immideatly. I shut off the truck check the oil its completely full. Restarted the truck it sounded fine. Oil pressure was back up. I drove it back to my house because I was a couple blocks away. It was seeing 60 at about 2000 rpm and when I Let it go back to idle it was barely above the red line. I shut it off and restarted once again it went back up to just below 30. I think it is the cluster but don't want to find out the hard way. Isn't there an alarm that would go off if the oil pressure dropped to zero and a message on the DIC?

yes the ecm would throw a low oil pressure light on the dic.

Like trent said log engine oil pressure and it will tell you. Sounds like the cluster to me.

Im 99% sure its the cluster. IIRC if you drop below 6 PSI oil you get the idiot light. IF you had zero Id have thought youd have gotten that message on the DIC. Also it dings like the door chime when it happens. Dont ask me how I know :D
