Well first time had the truck at the strip since the new motor so you all no It's full build with a single s475 45% injectors single cp3 for now air dog and few other things but pretty much it sucked Haha reguardless the setting I had the chip on or how much I spooled it wouldn't do better then a 14.9 and egts were pegged at 1600 so I called it quits after two runs ain't melting any pistons but what does any one else run? and what can I do for better time launch and lower egts?

What kind of tuning and 60ft? With my 472 and 60s I ran an 11.9 but there's some that have ran faster. Those egts don't seem too bad.

Robs tuning and 60 foot sucked it was the worst right off the line took a while to fully spool I'm thinkin billet wheel needs to go in!

What converter are you running? How bad were the 60's though? Mine does 1.7s no matter what tire I run and I think those are bad. Were you able to build boost prior to launching?

You shouldn't have any issue lighting that charger. I have a 472 with a tight ass converter and have no issues. Try pre-stageing with 1 foot on brake and 1 on throttle. When you trip the first light bring the Rpm's up to 2k and hold it there, then ease back on the brakes until you trip the 2nd light.

Ppe triple disc came with the stage 5 kit and 60 was 2.4 and I was doin that it just dumps smoke the first 100feet the lights ill try and post a video of it tomorrow

Most likely a ML converter, I run the same. If you light the turbo like gmclbz mentioned in his post the 60 will drop along with the et. What kind of mph did you run?

What was your mph? Big singles take a little practice anyways. What kind of tires and psi, suspension setup, how much boost at the line and overall, what elevation, weight, configuration of truck, the more we know the more we can help.

I'm in new jersey mph were 98.55 max boost like 36 37 and I had it spooled pretty good at the line but once I took my foot off brake started moving and gettin on the throttle it just lugged a ways then opened up this is my first big single used to the smaller chargers so any pointers would be great

BEfore the build and efilve I was running 14s all day long even 13.9s so I no It's got more in it now just have to figure it out

You need to get it spooled even more. It shouldn't lug once you release the brake and floor it.

That's what I did the second time foot to the floor just made a nice smoke show for a little bit then took off and I'll log it maybe this week forgot my computer

i saw a cclb LBZ with 35" tires and ONLY a weak hypertech run a 14.5 with a 2.0 60'. i think you may have a couple more issues. is it for sure holding rail pressure?

I'll do that that ill see how much more I can get it spooled what's safe egt my gauge only goes to 1600 And I peg it I no my buddy with a dodge of course melted piston at 1700 just didn't want to take any chances so I'll ask on here first Haha

I don't really pay attention to my egts but they get hot. Probably around 1800 but its just a spike and cools right off.

Yeah it does that's why I stopped Haha and it was pegged the whole time so could of been hotter I don't no so I just wasn't takin any chances don't hurt to ask some one first
