EFILive No data while logging!!!

So have tried on 3 different trucks. 2 LB7s and 1 LLY...

I select only the balancing rates. No other PIDs selected. Connects to ECM perfectly. Go to hit the record or monitor. And the data just goes to zero and never shows the "Real" data.

Been happening for about 6 months now. I update all the time. Firmware and bootblock is up to date.

Have tried restarting, re-installing.....everything short of using a different laptop.

Just trying to figure out why its doing that.

Think I may have figured it out.

I need to test it and see. I'll report back once I test it.

But I think it has to do with the power settings when the laptop is unplugged. Plugged in it has a 100% processor state as a minimum.....not plugged in it has 5%....

Well I fixed it.

Here are the setting in the advanced section I have. The bolded ones are what I changed.....and now it workie :thumb:

-Hard Disk
- -Turn off hard disk after
- On Battery: NEVER

-USB Settings
- -USB Selective suspend Setting
- On Battery: NEVER

-PCI Express
- -Link State Power Management
- -On Battery: OFF

-Processor Power Management
- -Minimum Processor State
- On Battery: 100%
- -System Cooling Policy
- On Battery: ACTIVE
- -Maximum Processor State
- On Battery: 100%

-Graphics Processor
- -GPU Power State
- On Battery: Max Performance
