So I was just driving the truck along, may I mention that entire day the tranny was stuck in 4th gear, and all the dash gauges stopped working, so I shut it off, turned the key on and off multiple times, disconnected and reconnected battery cables, get back in and the truck won't even crank. So I towed it to the local stealership, they diagnosed that as the fuse box. So I brought the truck to my shop, put the new fuse box and fuses in it, still nothing. I checked and cleaned all connections, tried grounding out tcm box, and when I attempt to start it, it will not show what gear it is in. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

When you replace the ECM, can I take one out of any other LMM, or does it take one flashed exactly to your truck?
Any lmm ecm should work as a test. There are only a few os. To start it will needs vats off or a vtd relearn

So Say if I go pick one up from a local junkyard, it will need some kind of re flash to start? Sorry for the probably obvious questions, new to the Duramax world.
