I own a 2005 lly and I just recently did a motor swap after getting everything hooked up I went to start and nothing. Im getting power to all gauges and fuel pump is priming but when I turn the key over nothing happens at all. but I am able to turn the motor over by shorting the starter relay PLEASE HELP

Check the park/neutral switch & wiring. Really just trace through the whole schematic below, and you'll find what is preventing the engine from cranking.

Okay I will try that also one thing my code reader is throwing a $0280 code and its saying it can read or recognize the ecmCheck the park/neutral switch & wiring. Really just trace through the whole schematic below, and you'll find what is preventing the engine from cranking.

That sounds like the ECU is not getting power/ground properly. Check the fuses and grounds, especially the grounds on the engine block.
