no brake pedal

have a 2002 gmc 3500 duramax with the hydro boost here, and what a night mare its been. fixed all the brake lines replaced the master cylinder.it had no pedal when it came in and it still has none. any thoughts on this problem?

I had this issue also. I ended up replacing the hydroboost. I had an obvious leak inside my truck where the pedal goes throught the firewall. It no longer leaks, but the pedal still does not seem as firm as it once was. Brakes fine though.

that is exactly what i was thinking. is there any way to test the hydro boost?

ya just looking at it looks like a royal pain in the side :mad:

They take some contortion to get to all the bolts but they are not that bad to change.

I just had some problems with my duallies brakes and I figured out I got the wrong master cylinder sent to me. I received one for a 6.0 with vacuum assist instead of hydro so make sure the mc is correct. Also you may need to do an auto bleed on the system with a nice scan tool. Good luck
