NNBS 1500 mirrors on 2500 OBS?

Wild hair up my ass to check this out, I think I have read there is a difference but I wanna know if anybody has tried putting 1/2 ton mirrors on their OBS I am about to go take off my wife's mirror to see if it looks even half way decent..

Just thinking aloud here but I won't be towing for a while so I figure I could run these mirrors in between towing.. Anybody think it's plausible?

^^ sun is coming out so I am going to go outside and see if they get close, thinking of maybe taking the nnbs mirror and putting it on OBS hinge/mount?? For lack if better term, we will see ill post pics if it works!!

They won't work mounting holes are different :thumb:

Well it wasn't too much Dremel work to get them to fit, now they just need to get painted

I plan on trimming the bottom flush with the bottom line but I'm waiting for it to warm up more for paint so I didn't want it to look like ass before paint...

Just now getting back to replying. Kinda shocked you got them to fit!

Do you have any pics of them modified before you put hem on the final time... How much dremel work did you actually do. How long did it take

I'll snap a few photos of the sides, the lines aren't as right as I want the finished product to be but I wanted to mount em and see how they work if I like em and stuff like that before I spent more time...

Just had to notch out for the window seal, drill a higher hole for the top bolt to mount on the door and Dremel out a brace on the back side, was really easy and straight forward what needed to go...

Glad I subbed from the beginning. Shame on those that said it couldn't be done. I really like the style so I'm also gonna try it soon
