Well I currently lowered my LLY and now my 285/55r20 toyo at2 won't clear at full lock. Currently looking at some 305/50 or 285/50 420s. My wheels are 20x9 -12mm raceline assaults. I think I'd like the 285s better but not sure. I'd like a tire that will hook up good on the steet but last awhile. Any feedback on these tires would be great.

I really liked mine too, sold the wheels the other day though. But if I ever pick up another set of 20s or 22s that's probably what I'd run

Go 305/50. I had both 285 and now 305.
Have them on the cummins

Can't find them in an E rated tire and who is mounting the 305/50r20 on an 8 lug wheel.?

I'm running 420's 305/50 20's. The local shop mounted them balanced for me.

Thanks guy, looks like I'll be ordering them today. I can do 16psi launches no problem but as soon as I get up to 18 she stakes on ice out of the hole. Hopefully these 420s will hook.

how many of you guys are towing with these i run them in the summer wheels and have been pulling my 30ft gooseneck to the pulls and they seem to be okay, haven't seen any uneven wear, im more concerned about safety if anything.

There isn't an E rated they arent for towing they are for street/strip fun. Find a different tire
I mounted mine myself at a friends shop but discount tire did refuse to mount the before I could even tell them they weren't going to even touch my wheels.

Fwiw I absolutely love them I won't be buying any other type of tire for what I use my truck for. Of my truck sits for over a week though they start to get flat spots and I have to drive the truck to get them smooth again.

I ran them on both my crew cab and my single cab, 305/50r20 on an AE 20x10 -24 offset. Little rubbing on the crew cab with just 3 inch drop on the rear and they don't rub on the single cab that's lowered even farther, have a set of toyo proxies on 20x9 race lines sitting in the shed, they seemed to hook better but I like the looks of the nitto better

Really Sean? My truck sometimes sits for a month at times.

I think it might be the heat? It's always the pass side that's feels like I threw a wheel weight but after a few miles its gone. My truck sits with the sun setting on the right side. Bit either way no other tire did that to me before.

My brother tows a 12,000lbs total load truck on a tri axle gooseneck, on 305/50/20 Nittos, they are rated for 3200 lbs each and it doesnt even flex the sidewall. For what its worth. Loves them and they are so quiet on the road.

Ive had them for 3 years and I like them and they don't even do that bad when it snows. I have not seen a flat spot yet but mine sits in a shop for a month at a time sometimes.

I run 285/50r20 420s and love them. -24 offset with rubbing at lock in reverse.

Great tire for the strip, and I tow my 32' toy hauler with them.

Suggestion for racing... ive cut my best 60' times by leaving them at about 40psi.

I opted against 420's. I went with 305/50/20 kumho ecsta's. These tires have the same load index but have a higher speed rating than a 305/50 420. I am very satisfied with them.

Brother tows alot with them.
they are D rated with a 3,086lb @50psi weight rating for the 305/50/20 tires

Imo I care less of load range more of the actual weight rating is..
Fwiw I have had Ds rated for more then Es from factory
