Well after an exciting trip to the Desert & blowing two tires on the Toy Hauler, in the middle of nowhere (Two different times), I finally had a good time. I entered both ET Bracket, and Super Street in the Fallon NHRDA race. I made it down to the Semi Finals in Bracket before pulling through the brakes and red lighting, But not before two 12.08 passes, one with a .000 light the other with a .002 light. I also made a 12.030 pass on a 12.030 dial (6,987' DA) for the win. In Super Street, I figured Nathan and Ken had the win in the bag, but wanted more seat time, so I entered it as well. Unfortunately they had some mechanical problems and could not race. Before the Super Street finals my nerves were racked, as people were telling me the other guy made an 11.87 pass on the spray. I figured the only way I could get him was on the tree. It was my first time running a pro tree, and I sucked. I was only cutting .23x lights. I also gave Rob a call and picked his brain on adding more fuel, and it was a go. I got him out of the hole with a .19x light, and held the same distance the whole 1/4mi. It was a great event with alot of good people. It was nice to see distant buddy's, and put faces with names. After the event they had Quad/Golf cart Bracket races. I entered my daughters PINK 50cc in the event, and I won two rounds before the air cooled motor started smelling a lil warm. Im sure the video's will pop up somewhere. I was doing a burnout while lifting the rear, when the water lady decided that the burn out box needed more water and soaked me really good... The 50 pulled a best of 24.78 23.24mph in the 1/8mi. .
PS: To the guy's that borrowed my Impact and tools, Thanks for the $30 you put in my Impact box, It was unexpected. I found it while switching my tires back!
