My tranny is acting funny, and I've been working too damn much to fix it. If I can find someone around here I can throw some $ at to go through it I'll be down to run my sh!+ there. Probably get a few diesels to caravan over to the east side (and one to bring a trailer in case mine breaks, haha).

03duramax - where are you located? What is it doing when you say acting funny? What do you suspect is wrong?

Doesn't want to hold 5th, then got symptoms of bad nsbu, but changed that and still same.
I'm in Buckley, about 30min east of Tacoma.

Sorry for being off topic.

Are you getting any transmission codes? If so what are they? By no means am I a transmission expert but I think it could be one of two things, either a bad solenoid (Sol E is used for 5th gear), or you've got some fried clutches. 5th gear uses the C2 and C3 clutches, which are the two clutch packs notorious to go out first.
