Are you changing? Gonna chance it? Most ppl in SD are faster than 11.99 and the new rule says no rubber stem. If I have to ok, but black wheels with a metal stem looks like crap!
Why can't you just get black metal valve stems?
They are the rubber pull thru. The stem is metal. I bought them at orielly's.
It's an NHRA rule. It isn't something the NHRDA came up with to keep people from competing. It's a safety thing like seat belts and roll bars.No one knows why they are required?
I have a major issue with all these nit picking rules on these trucks. My truck is not a purpose built race truck. Its a worktruck that goes fast. How do they expect a good turnout for events when such a small detail can get you turned away? Its like the NADM with their BS turn up exhaust rule. If these organizations want more people racing, dont turn away the people that drive their STREET trucks sometimes hundreds of miles to compete, and spend hundreds of dollars to do so. If I got turned away for the incorrect valve stems after traveling and spending money to get there, shit would hit the proverbial fan. I will never race another NADM event after getting turned away for not having a turn-up exhaust, and it looks like the NHRDA is going on the shit list too. Such a shame because their events are usually well organized and people actually get paid.rotest:
