Heartland Park - Topeka Kansas

Saturday will be qualifying and finals

Sunday is our rain out date if needed.

Hot Rod Drag week will start on Sunday at Heartland Park so worst case if it did rain we would have to share the track with them on Sunday afternoon.

I dont think there is a number, just have to be in the top 16 of whatever class you are running in any of the regions. Making one race and going out in the first round will probably do it in most regions as lots of the qualified trucks don't end up going or at least they didn't last year.

If you get on their website it says all of their classes. There should be a class for you Tom, maybe 12.0 index? I havent looked at their classes.

Thats pretty cool, it would be a cool weekend to just stay and watch that event too. You can watch the Kansas City Mo boys dominate that one.

NHRDA runs several classes, for the more street type trucks they have the Sportman Brackets and also a new class the Super Diesel 11.90 index. Superstreet trucks are in the 10's and higher 9's, very competitive class. Prostreet is similiar to Prostreet in the Outlaw series. Go to the NHRDA website and you can find out all the specifics.

It's a points based thing. I went to one race last year; placed 3rd and still
got invited to the World Finals...couldn't make the trip financially plus the fact that it's in KS if anything happened I'd be stuck with no way home and a broken truck

I know my buddy got invited for placing in a division 4 race. We also went to alot of the outlaw races and competed, but just wasn't sure if that comtributed.

No you have to be a NHRDA member and race in at least one NHRDA race and make the top 16 in whatever class you run for the year. That is not difficult as many don't go to the finals.
