I talked to Ken an hour or so ago, and he said the track was very slippery. He said they were having a hard time getting the truck to hook on the DOT tires, but I think he said they ran a 10.2, didn't get a MPH.

damn , there isnt anything wrong with a 10.2 on drag radials .should be a new record for SS . did they run the full slicks for pro street ? pretty tuff to change tires between classes .

I think he said something about swapping tires for PS, but I was having a little bit of a tough time understanding him (bad connection on my end I guess). I'm not 100% sure on what he was saying.

We had a injector or push rod go out on the 3rd run. I ran a 10.78, 10.38, and 10.86 I think on the Nitto's. That was all in qualifying runs. Rob won both Pro Street and Super Street. MPH was 134 to 135. We never got a chance to turn it up or run on the slicks.

The race truck was doing great even with poor track conditions. Nathan almost made siamiese twins out of our two trucks but saved it with some good driving.

No blowby or coolant pressure problems, but have a max'd out balance rate and rough idle, so hopefully just an injector.

Thank you!!

Fun racing in Super street. 8 trucks total, 4 in the 12.1-11.9 range, and 2 trucks faster than that. I drove my truck there 9 hours and unpacked the 2 kids and assorted games, bags and sleeping gear, and loaded what I thought was a race tune.

I watched my egt gauge and it never went above 1200 the whole way on the 12.1 runs, so I questioned what was in the truck as far as tuning. Turns out I had a street tune in it and was having fun trying to launch on my mud tires, so I just left that tune in.

Track wasn't preped very well IMO. Some of the big HP cars even have trouble there. That truck was a real hoot to watch!!!!

It was good to put a face to some of the members here too!!!

As always good seeing Ken, Rob and Nathan again!!
