Howdy guys, I just bought my truck a couple of weeks ago. It is a 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD CC/SB LT 4x4. It has the LLY Duramax engine and Allison 1000 tranny. It has a 6" Fabtech lift, 35" Toyo tires, 4" Magnaflow exhaust, K&N drop in air filter and it's been de-badged. My first round of modifications is already underway. I ported the stock airbox with additional holes in the front and bottom and removed the foil the was on the inner fender directly in front of the OEM airbox opening, I slung that nasty oily K&N air filter in the weeds and installed an AFE Pro Dry air filter, cleaned the MAF sensor of all the oil that was on it, Removed the old FRAM fuel filter that said it was last changed in 2008 and installed a brand new WIX 33960 fuel filter, I've got the pieces to do the PCV re-route this weekend, I will be ordering an LBZ turbo inlet duct and EGR delete kit as soon as I find the best price for each. I've long been a fan of Chevys and have owned a few. This my first diesel rig ever so I hope none of my questions will be too dumb.
