Hey fellas.

New to the forum and new to the LML life

Recently just traded my 09 cummins on a 11 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali.

Right now it's just been tuned and deleted. But ready to get a fass 150 installed along with a cp3 conversion.

Thanks folks. I'm glad to be back into a duramax. Stole it from the dealer for 25k. 2011 that's been deleted with 125k. CCSB. Tuned and deleted. Does have some body damage and the cp4 was needing swapped. So that's why I got it for cheap. But it's going to get the fass and cp3 swap soon with better tunes. Shooting for around 550hp. Just aiming for a fun daily driver.

So what do you mean the cp4 needed to be swapped? Like engine wouldn't run or what? If the pump was actually going bad seems like injectors would be bad too..

Truck has been tuned and the kid that had it before me ran the piss out of it and the cp4 is on it's last leg. It came with another cp4 but I'm not going to put another one of those in it and have it go bad again. Injectors checked it good. The cp4 acts up when it's under heavy load.

If it were me, I wouldnt even drive the truck until after I did a CP3 swap. Too much risk of more money down the drain if the CP4 dies on you, which it sounds like it might. But that's just me.

Anyway, welcome to DD.

That's what I've been told. But it's my only way of transportation at the moment.

First off, welcome to the forum.

Secondly, did the truck throw any codes when the cp4 was acting up?

Code was on when I got it the truck. I had my buddy run the code. I'm not sure what code it was. But the cp4 was iffy when it was under hard acceleration. It hasn't came back on since I cleared it. I also baby the truck, hasn't seen over 2600 rpms or so. I'm not trying to replace injectors.
