DMAX Truck (and Van) Community,
First of all I would like to welcome myself as a new FULL time employee of BT DieselWorks. I am very excited for this opportunity to become part this young growing company. I know many of you have anticipated this day.
I am fully aware, along with most of Ben's followers, that communication, fulfillment and tech support have been "spotty" at times while he has been trying to start his business. My collaboration with Ben and BT DieselWorks will hopefully alleviate most if not all of these critical "business" flaws.
I have experience with starting small businesses, so I know how difficult it can be to build, launch and grow a business while maintaining 100% customer satisfaction. I am not a business "guru" by any means, but what I offer his company is a second head, creativity and an extra set of hands. It is my goal to get his production streamlined and build a large inventory of his products so that when orders are placed they can be fulfilled immediately...meanwhile tie up any loose end orders and tech support questions. Once we have accomplished those goals we (Ben) can then continue to develop new products.
In Ben's defense, many do not realize how much time it takes to build his kits from start to finish, every part of his kits are hand assembled in house, even building the circuit boards and wiring harnesses. Hence, why order fulfillment has taken so long in the past. However, this should NEVER be a customer's problem and or cause hesitation to purchasing one of his products. This is your hard earned money we are talking about and is not to be taken lightly.
We all know how capable Ben is...he is truly a magician when it comes to our trucks and developing products for them. We also know he has been a one man show until now which is remarkable considering what he has accomplished. But, one person can only handle so much, that is why my addition to his team will be a tremendous move towards growing his company to the next level and providing performance for the future!
We are now settled here in Jackson Hole, WY, with operation at 100% and have a long winter ahead of us to getting cranking to provide you with great customer satisfaction and full disclosure. Feel free to call our new office phone: 307-200-9255 M-F 9-5pm MST. Also on the phone front, I am making Ben get rid of his egregious 2003 BlackBerry in lieu of a phone that can actually handle Tapatalk and even emails...Ben, welcome to 2013.
So I urge the Duramax community to rest assured that BT DieselWorks is in for an ass kicking so you can get your products and tech support in a timely fashion. Give'r!
