Any help with the new toy would be greatly appreciated I am willing to pay for a safe tune and the halp to get me started!!

if you go to the library on DP and find bobo's starter tune its somewhat decent.
makes a little more boost then i would like but runs pretty good and has low egts. just take it easy on the 4-5 shift and 5th gear accel just in case. i used it while i was waiting for my custom tunes to come in

Do I need to do the trans tune also? I use both my liscence if i do this is that correct,one for ECM and one for TCM? I would sure love to get a little more life out my trans is the trans tune a good idea?
of course you dont "need" a trans tune but it will certinally help. the raised shifts will take the engine farther away from its peak torque band and therefor the shifts will be less damaging to the trans. just be sure after you load it and any new tunes you let the trans relearn before you go out and beat on it.
also make sure the rev limit in the ECM tune is raised to 3800-4000 or it wont shift at WOT at all
and no it wont use your second license. each lisence somes with the ability to tune one ECM and one TCM so you can still tune another ECM and TCM after you do your truck

Like stated above, really your V2 comes with four licenses, two ECM, and two Trans. they say two because the licenses are sold in pairs, one license consists of one ecm and one trans.:thumb:
OK I loaded the bobo tune from that other place!! WOW!!!! WOW!! think i need something a little more conservative but I do think i going to like the EFI LIVE though Bada$$
How to flash TCM??
well i have flashed in a couple of tunes with the v2 now and the same OS. now i am wondering how to flash the tcm, and also do i need to change the serial number on the tunes before i flash them i haven't been. Do i have to do a full flash for this?
