Took the truck to the track tonight and did alright. I made 9 runs and they were all pretty consistant. only carnage of the night was an intercooler boot and some mustangs feelings

New Best Time:
R/T: .530
60': 1.781
330': 5.301
1/8: 8.293
1/8 mph: 82.11
1/4: 13.114
1/4 mph: 101.33

So far i am happy, I really wanted to break 12's but I'll get there eventually

Raced at Darlington Raceway and apperantly they have never seen a fast diesel before and they were really impressed and even the track owner came out and talked to me because he was so impressed. So in all it was a good night.

Congrats BUT

Thats too high. You will if not already hurt your motor. You need to find a way to get them down.

Good job!

2400 degrees.....and I thought my 1900 degrees was high.

I'm guessing this was with the headlight out? Also, if you're not already doing it, I've noticed a difference when I pop the hood between runs to let the hot air out. Plus people always walk by expecting to see something crazy and the only thing they can see is an air fiilter. :D

Like Steve said, wait for the temps to drop about 15-20 degrees and you should be right there in the 12's.

i have an ATS pyro and it reads up to 2000 degrees and it is pegged to the stopper on it? 2400 is guessing but it still concerns me because you dont here of too many people running that high

Just some stuff a "Big Fella" I know had that himself and I dicked with..He had duel fuelers, and a big turbo So I went in and changed some stuff.. I still run the same tune on the street today..I 've learned not to switch back and forth all it does is screw my tranni shifting up..There's better streetable race tunes out there but at the track they've been a touch slower.. Plus it loves the Bottle also..
