So, I bit the bullet today. Walked out with ANOTHER Xd 9mm and a new Kimber Ultra Carry II 9MM.

I have been looking at micro 1911's why did you go with the kimber instead of the springfield EMP?
I have quite a few Springfields now and didn't have a Kimber. I've always wanted one and I got this at a pretty good deal from what I can tell. So that is what pushed me for this one.
Kimbers are great. One of the chevy forums. Ls1tech or performance trucks has a guy that has the same kimber in 45 for sale. Oh wait here is the thread.

I think the 9MM is more expensive the the .45 correct? From what I've seen they are.
I've been eyeballing that Kimber for awhile now. I might as well pull the trigger on one LOL. I don't need another pistol though........
I went to the gun shop the other day and they had both the springfield and the kimber micro 1911's and to me i liked the way the kimber felt compared to the springfield. The kimber made me feel as though i had a better grip on the gun compared to the springfield.
I have a Springfield XD Sub Compact. I do like this Kimbers "feel" over that, I don't have any springfield 1911's though.
I looked at a few Kimbers at one time. I want something really compact to carry. My SIG P229 40 S&W isn't the smallest of guns
The XD subcompact is real nice. 13+1 in the small clip!
The new Ruger LCP is nice and small, look into something like that if the Sub Compact models are to big.
